Interior Design

We have expertise in choosing the furniture, fixtures and equipment that are funtional and complement the scheme.

Branded Environment Design
Our team boasts extensive experience in creating branded environments for local, national, and international commercial clients. Every brand embodies its values and visual identity, including a logo that enhances its image. For smaller companies, this branding may be succinctly outlined in a few pages, while larger organizations often have comprehensive brand guideline manuals. This foundational information guides the design of branded environments, seamlessly integrating with interior architecture and design.
Listed Building Interiors
We possess extensive experience and knowledge in listed building interiors, acquired during our return to the UK working for a highly regarded rural architectural practice. Over five years, I collaborated closely with the senior partner as an Interior Architect and Architectural Assistant, gaining invaluable insights into the specialised field of conservation for both listed buildings and their surroundings. This role involved working alongside various specialists, including building surveyors, planners, conservation officers, bat surveyors, arboriculturists, landscape architects, and specialist suppliers and contractors.

Bespoke Design
We prioritise environmental sustainability and local craftsmanship in our projects, whether it involves the exterior or interior elements of a building, as well as its furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Our extensive network includes a diverse range of local and global resources, sourced directly from reputable manufacturers, many of which we have curated over decades through meetings, site visits, trade shows, and factory tours. When a one-of-a-kind bespoke item is needed, we are equipped to design and facilitate its production.
Example - Bespoke Design of Reception Desk
Manufacture & Installation
Collaboration with clients Scottish Provident, Surveyors & Property Manager DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald, Dublin, Ireland
Designing a one off reception desk to a very detailed and accessible requirement inc. size, low parcel zone, lighting, hidden security, IT and telecoms equipment to tie in with the newly reconfigured and refurbished reception area. The reception desk was designed and project managed by us sourcing Benchmark Furniture Ltd., multi award winning including The Kings Award For Enterprise Sustainable Development and leaders in responsible sourcing and manufacturing. One of our many hi-end manufacturing resources appointed to manufacture and install the reception desk. The prestigious furniture workshop was founded in 1984 by Sir Terence Conran and Sean Sutcliffe based in the grounds of Terence's country home in Berkshire.

FF&E Curation
Chadwicks specialises in curating high-quality Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E). We access to a vast array of local and global resources, offering both off-the-shelf and custom-made contemporary or classic products directly from reputable manufacturers and suppliers. Our extensive library, built over decades through interactions with manufacturers, site visits, trade shows, and continuous professional development, includes a variety of items such as seating, tables, lighting fixtures, window treatments, artwork, appliances, and other movable equipment essential for enhancing residential and commercial spaces.
Example - FF&E Curation of Bespoke Art
Collaboration with our client Janssens, Cork, Ireland (part of global giants J&J Pharmaceuticals)

Janssens a discerning and demanding client who believed in giving new talent a chance. Chad researched, shortlisted and selected a local up and coming Cork artist Colin Leahy to paint a series of high quality paintings. Art directed by us, with strong influence from our studies of British Abstract Artist Ben Nicholson, a set of compositions each one a subtle metaphor for the differing molecular structures of formulated pharmaceutical products, at the same time the paintings tie in with the buildings material and FF&E language. Its key purpose to humanize and add interest to the reception, managers offices and meeting rooms within a non branded new R&D building. We also designed the interiors, including layouts with the Architects/Engineers of the building and curated all the FF&E for the building.

Curating The 'Egg' & 'Swan'
Chairs. Designed by Arne Jacobsen - Dutch Visionary Architect & Designer

Example - FF&E Curation of Formal Consultation
& Informal Waiting Area Chairs
Collaborating with our client the Managing Director of MBC Insurance, Cork, Ireland

Brief was to research and agree Chairs that gave a modern hi-end feel that were practical, met the budget and tied in with the strong new brand identity the company had recently launched. We had also designed the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the high street HQ. Several chair options were put forward to the client, the design scheme included formal broker consultation areas and informal customer waiting area which required 2 types of seat. The client agreed the Classic Arne Jacobsens 'Swan' was perfect for the formal broker consultation as it was light, comfortable and durable and would be handled and moved by customers and the 'Egg' was perfect for the customer waiting area, some similar practical qualities but larger and heavier to stay in a fixed position, more inviting, private with its large wings and more comfortable to help make it a pleasant wait.
